...UTAH fire it up, here we GO...

I am watching the University of Utah game as we speak!!! I love Utah...it is my favorite. My beautiful aunt, uncle and cousins that live in New Jersey used to live and Michigan and made the 10 hour trip to go to the game. Both my aunt and uncle graduated for the U and lived in Michigan so it was only natural they would attend the game of the year (luckies)!! The game has been sold out for awhile so I believe they purchased some scalper tickets. My Uncle John and Josh ended up going into the game while Tara and Abby decided to go shopping. When the kids were out a couple months ago Josh made a bet with Brandon and his friend Wade about this game. Josh wants Michigan to win and everybody else wants Utah to win...of course. So Josh bet Brandon and Wade that if Michigan wins Brandon and Wade must wear Michigan stuff and if Utah wins Josh has to wear Utah stuff (which he loves Utah...Josh informed me that when he plays college football if he cant play at Michigan he will play at Utah) John has been texting us most of the game and sending pictures of Swoop and the Utah crowds...I am so jealous. Josh was really upset because John is wearing a Utah shirt and he is surrounded by Utah fans...

GO UTAH!!! U-T-A-H GO, GO UTES (yes I have school spirit)

...I live for moments like these...

So I am a sap and I look for miracles each day...I know I am weird, but it reminds me of all the good that we are surrounded by. So Saturday night we all went to the Cheesecake Factory for Dusti's birthday. It was a blast and we always have so much fun when we are all together. While we were eating we were waiting for Micheal Phelps and team (I feel bad I don't know their names) last relay, hoping to see history be made. So as the relay was beginning Brandon and I switched seats so we could see the television. Honestly, this is going to get way sappy:) While we moved where we could see the television I noticed that everyone was literally looking over their booths to see. It was the COOLEST thing I have seen in awhile. So I tried to capture the moment of the USA team taking the gold...the little flick is dark, but it kind of has a sense of something and I was super proud that I recorded it so just ignore my commentary. I had the biggest chills when everyone started cheering...I really live for moments like that when everyone is feeling the same thing and for that one moment everyone is on the same side. I know I am so silly, but I thought that the littlest thing like that relay was so amazing:)

...Floatin the Provo...

I highly recommend doing this...it was so much FUN!! So we all set off to the the great city of Provo (NOT) but it was fun non the less:) I was wondering if it was ever going to happen however we were supposed to leave at 1:00, I have no idea what time we actually left, but it was way after 1:00 (its ok Tolley we forgive you) we headed off to Provo Canyon to float the river, we parked one of Brandon's friends cars at the end point while waiting to head off to the top we heard a loud POP and it was Tolley's tube (guess you shouldn't be late:)) so we were short a tube, but that didn't stop the boys...they were just going to ride doubles...how sweet!! So we hop into Brandon's truck to take us to the top when all of a sudden a tube flies from the bed of the truck right into on coming traffic (lovely huh) Tolley and Pete literally jump from Brandon's moving truck to run onto the freeway or canyon whatever it is...DANGEROUS really. The tube was successfully grabbed without any injury whatsoever....

We decided a beginning point and preceded down a very steep and thorny walk into the river and the rest is history. It was so pretty floating with the mountains beside you and just enjoying each others company. Nat and I had the best tube, we stole Brandon's parents boating tube and we just sailed along. We ran into a few trees here and there, but we were totally relaxed the entire ride. The boys messed around and bless Wade's heart he had some encounters with the crummy rocks that were at the bottom of the river. All and all it was so much FUN!!

...What a weekend...

Where to start?? How I embarrassed Brandon acting like a tourist in Salt Lake City. Lately, in all of my free time being unemployed I have really sat and thought A LOT about things. One thing in particular how I live in a great state and I have never really looked at how great it is. I have never been to the arches, never been to the great Salt Lake, etc stuff like that. So we went to his cute bar and grill on Friday...Mo's Bar and Grill...it was so fun; live music, the cutest old school atmosphere, it was awesome. After we ate I made Brandon drive around Salt Lake. I really love the city, well it is not much of a city to me anymore. I remember coming into SL from Brigham City thinking how HUGE it was...not so much anymore it is getting small to me:) but that is ok, I still enjoy it. Brandon does not know it yet, but when our children are older we are moving to Manhattan, I love the chaos of New York, it is beautiful to me....Anyways back to my sight seeing of SL, I literally was holding the camera above through my sunroof taking pictures!! It was fun:)

...4 boys, 1 girl, Snowbird, and 2 crazy puppies...

Last week sometime Brandon thought it would be so fun to go up to his family cabin for the weekend with all of his friends. It was planned a little last minute and I was the only girl:) I felt bad that I was raining on the testosterone parade, but I got over it quickly. It was so much fun. We all piled into Brandon's truck and set forth. We got the cabin at like 9:00 and the boys went outside to start a fire and I did a social work license test (boo!) but I headed outside to the excitement. Brandon and Tolley stayed up and watched 21 while us smart ones headed to bed. We got up the next morning, tried some Captain Crunch French Toast (not bad), and set off on a 4-Wheeling adventure. It was fun:)It is my family week up in Snowbird, but all my family is not there. The most important people are though. My mom, grandma & Tara Jo, John, Abby, and Josh (in spirit). We headed up to Snowbird on Sunday and had dinner with my mom, Ryan (my mom's soon to be HUSBAND, yes that is right my mama is getting hitched and I am so so happy for her and yes it is Travis Price's father...so my first boyfriend is going to be my BRO), and my sweet grandma. I love Snowbird it is so FUN!! Brandon, myself, my mom, and Ryan went and had a smashing game of Tennis....not so much, my mom and I were over the game after about 2 min, but Brandon and Ryan enjoyed each other's company for awhile. Brandon and Ryan went home so it was just us girls on Monday. I am upset because I forgot to bring my camera when we went on our walk and to lunch:( Anyways it is always fun and I love my family so so much!! My mom is going to be upset that I posted this picture...but its cute!!
And last but not least, since my family is up in the mountains we have the babies...AKA the puppies. They are so much fun!! The are like children and I love them. Lily is the oldest and she was an only child for quite some time...we relate:) Lexie is just a baby and is so sweet and uses her paws like hands and would rather be on two legs than four. We love them:)

...Wedding Bells...

Last Monday I went to a wedding shower for my little Cassidy!! We were on Crimson Line together and danced by each other all of the time...we were screaming buddies (meaning we LOVED yelling while dancing). It was so much fun seeing some of the old team. We went to her amazing wedding on Saturday!! She married the cutest boy that was on the drum line at the University of Utah. They are just the cutest:) Their wedding was so fun!!! ...Some of the lovely ladies at the shower and some of the old team...

...memory game...

Here's how it goes:

1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember! If you don't have a blog you can still leave me a comment! My blog allows anonymous comments so just tell me who you are in your comment.

2. Next (if you choose to), re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you. If you don't want to play on your blog, or if you don't have a blog, I'll leave my memory of you in my comments.

...we are the champions...

Shake N' Bake is probably one of the best co-ed softball teams out there. We basically dominate every game:) Really it was such a fun season!! We had a blast and enjoyed playing in the hot hot sun, getting hit with balls and bats, striking out, hitting home runs, overthrowing first base, not daring to throw the ball at all, actually throwing the ball and getting outs, singing to Wade his theme song, cheering, running, sliding, drunk umps, and just getting together and having fun!! Great season team!!!

...brody dezember photography rocks my socks...

On Tuesday I made Brandon get into his wedding suit and I got into one of my dresses and we went out on an adventure with Brody!! It was a blast, we were so relaxed and he took some amazing pictures (hopefully I will have them soon, the photo above was an after party shot done by the amazing timer on our camera). Brody is so talented and fun and has this amazing eye for photography....It was a blast and I thank Brody for taking INCREDIBLE pictures and for being our buddy and Brandon (good thing there was a storm rolling in so he wasn't hot) for getting dressed up and supporting me in wanting to have another 300 pictures taken love ya Brandon:)
