...classic...

My last one I promise:) Yesterday Brandon and I were able to go and volunteer for the Christopher and Dana Reeves Foundation at the Keep Rollin' car show. It was AWESOME!! Brandon works with an amazing kid that put the entire car show together. I saw some of the most amazing and beautiful cars...I want one (shocker I know)! Aside from the amazing car show, the coolest retired people I have ever talked to, and the amazing turn-out, it was for the best cause. It makes me so happy to have been apart of it and to see all of the people that came to support this cause...there really is so much good in this world, I even believe there is more good than bad:) Thanks babe for volunteering us to go up to the beautiful Brighton resort and help out!!

....friends & chubby bunny...

I am trying to catch up on blogs...so my apologizes for all of the blog postings in one day. Friends are incredible and make this life that sometimes seems rough so much smoother! I am so thankful for all of my friends that are always around me and my friends that live so far away from me!!
We went up to American Fork Canyon last weekend and had a blast!! We had awesome "Hobo" dinners (thanks Sam and Dustin) and roasted marshmallows, star bursts, and you name whatever. We also enjoyed a fun game of chubby bunny!!!Then on the 24th we went out with everyone to the lake and had a blast scurfing...it is so much fun!! When I met Brandon, his friends intimidated the crap out of me, they dont at all anymore. These boys have been friends since like grade school...they know EVERYTHING about one another...that is why I absolutely love them ALL!! These boys have one of the most amazing and special bonds that I have ever seen, it truly makes you happy to be around all of them when they are together, they would do anything for one another. Enough of my sappy moment...basically I am trying to get at is I am so so happy that I married such a handsome amazing person and into such an awesome bond of boys that are like the brothers I have never had...and I love all of the wife's of those that are married as well:)

...ARRR...Mi Matie??...

I am so happy that I am still able to perform!! Nothing is better than dancing (besides the obvious Brando and my family) it is my escape, my passion, and basically so much fun!! In Jan. I was asked by my Crimson Line coach to become a member of her professional dance company, I jumped on board quickly...it is a blast!! A couple weeks ago we got to do a gig in Sun Valley, ID...WOW that place is incredible. We did a more novelty themed dance where we were pirates. I love getting dressed up so it was a blast!!

...which part: the gigantic hole in my wall or my wheel-less SAAB...

Oh...about a week ago I was getting ready when my cute husband came upstairs, by the look on his face I knew something was up. He told me, "we have a leak" I was like "fan-freaking-tastic" you see these past three months that I have been slaving away for the State....has been completely volunteering (if that is what you want to call it) so basically we are living on one salary! I am very thankful that we have been great...but I can't wait for these next three weeks to pass so I can make some MONEY. Anyways, I am straying from the subject at hand. So we have a leak, I am thinking great, new home...WARRANTY well that is what Brandon is thinking as well. The pipe that was leaking is a important pipe...it basically is our bathroom but the important part of this pipe is that it runs behind our vanity in our bathroom and down the wall in our kitchen. So on the 4th of July Brandon is showing our leaking pipe off, He and Tolley come to the conclusion that our builders will have to rip our cabinets off the wall where the pipe runs and rip our vanity out. Ok...I can live with that, I guess....I thought maybe they would accidentally throw some granite on my counters and tile on my floors:) So Brando called the builder on Thursday (7.3) and they came out first thing this morning (7.7) I get a text from Brando telling me it is all fixed...I was thinking wow that was painful...then the truth came out. I asked him what was wrong and he told me that it actually was his doing on why our pipe was leaking....so when we build our house we just had a range over the top of our stove. We wanted to put a microwave above so we did...little did I know or Brandon for that matter that he screwed like 2 or 3 screws directly into the pipe...thus causing leaking since the week we moved in...do buyers get warranty for their mistakes...I don't think so. But its cool I love my Brandon!!
My SAAB. I have never loved a car more, granted I only have had 2. She is trouble. About a month ago my air conditioning was going out and the passenger side was shaking and making the most obnoxious sound ever!! Turns out that my air compressor was going on and it was only time before my fan belt would give out and basically shut the entire car down. So we started looking into our options. Of course my warranty on the SAAB just went away...oh 3 months ago. Brandon has a friend that works on SAAB's so we get an estimate...$600.00 for the part $300.00 for labor. Well good thing Brandon loves cars because going to a shop apparently was not an option, he was fixing it. So out of curiosity we called SAAB (which I do love but it is a totally expensive car to fix) to see how much the part was there. The eager parts boy answered the phone and Brandon asked him how much this blah blah blah air compressor was and the boy stated $1400.00 for the part before he could tell Brandon the labor Brandon already disappointed him by saying no thanks...the poor boy was like we have 3 in stock...poor kid. Well tonight Brandon and his incredible father fixed my air compressor (which Brandon found one for way way cheap, cross your fingers it runs, JK) so thank you for spending your Monday evening fixing my beautiful SAAB!!

...oh say can you see...

Our fourth of July was AWESOME!! My Aunt Tara Jo and my Uncle John flew in so we had the entire family for the first time ever on our Independence Day....I absolutely LOVED it!! We BBQ at our house where my favorite two boys Wade and Tolley (like brothers to me....Brando's buddies) came over to enjoy the festivities. I was bummed out because it was so windy outside we could not set anything up without it blowing away:( so we moved the party inside...it all worked out. I was just so excited to have my entire family there, it felt so complete!! We all took some turns playing some rock band....I love watching older (so rude) people play, they are so into it!!After we had a killer BBQ we headed off to the Bee's game...it was so fun. We had incredible seats right behind home plate. The weather really was not too hot, the game was entertaining, and my aunt made friends with an older man (like late 70's) and the first thing she asked him was..."how did you cut your finger off" I about peed my pants I was laughing so hard, I was eavesdropping of course! No really he fell in love with her...that is just the kind of person she is...so nice to EVERYONE and she can start a conversation with about any person. I love her!! I love my family so dang much!! My grandma is the heart of us all...my mom keeps us in line, she is my hero, and Tara is somebody I strive to be like everyday!! I love having Abby Jo and Joshua Mitchell around...they keep me feeling young and full of hope. Thank you to John, Ryan, Brandon, Tolley, and Wade for hanging out with us....we know we are so cool!! YES you are seeing double. I had to put the picture with John on and the picture with me:)

...oh twins...

As I said in my previous blog my cute twin cousins from New Jersey came to visit for a week. Brandon and I had a ton of fun with them!! It was so good to spend some time with them!! We started a ROCK BAND...don't have a name yet though:) Our undecided band...and Josh would like the world to know that is not a BYU( I would be a little nervous) hat he has on (inside joke for sure)
Enjoying a little Utah Lake

...It has been a bit...

Wow!! I cannot believe how time has flown from May 5- now. I am referring back to May 5 because that is when I started my practicum and I can't tell you how excited I am to almost be done with my 450 hours.

We have had a busy and fun summer so far. Right now my cousins from New Jersey are in town ( I will have pictures sometime). Brandon and I had them for the weekend...we went boating and to Lagoon...I am still recovering from all of the excitement!!Brandon's friend Dusty got married (well he is my friend as well) to Jenna. It was a beautiful wedding, I am a dork and did not take a picture of the happy couple however... After their wedding we headed off to Yuba for the weekend...all I can say is check out Brandon's farmers tan. It is too funny!!This is the group of guys Brandon has been friends with FOREVER!! Boys are so different with friends....I wish girls stuck around each other like they do:) They are awesome friends...a few of them are like brothers to me!!FARMERS TAN....

My JDCHS girls headed to Dance Camp last week. It was a lot of fun except they poor girls were in a high school gym that did not have air conditioning so it seriously was about 100 degrees. It was gross walking in because you would step in the gym and get a whiff of sweaty dancer feet. I danced with them for about two hours and I was melting to death. On Tuesday night the girls came to my house and we had a BBQ & a sleep-over.Sorry for the marathon blog, but I keep finding things that we have done. We went to the Utah Arts Festival...it was so FUN!! I love going and I love watching the people there. I love that so many different kinds of people come together...it is AWESOME!!
I think that is all I can think of right now:) I hope that the summer continues to move quickly (I just want to be done with my practicum)
